The tradition of the Giant American Flag, began in 1976, the anniversary of our nations independence! Since that time, this giant flag has traveled this great nation and abroad! Making a showing at numerous: Parades, Military events, Conventions, Sporting events, etc..

  • What is the size of the Giant Flag?
  • The flag is: 76' x 50',  and weighs 125 lbs (with an aerodynamic weight of about 2000 lbs, when open!

  • Who can request the flag?
  • Anyone can request the flag for parades, sporting events, conventions, any many more public gatherings. Just contact us to see if your event qualifies.

  • What is the meaning of: One of the largest "legal" flags?
  • This flag has eyelets, which means it can be flown from a flag pole, though we have yet to find one large enough. There are larger "legal" flags out there, but we are one of the few organizations that has one!

  • Is there a cost or fee for the flag?
  • There is no cost or fee for the flag. However, we do ask for a minimum donation of $50.00 for the presentation of the Giant American Flag. If the presentation is outside the Oklahoma City area, we ask for transportation expenses including food and hotel, if an overnight stay is needed. Receipts during the stay will be provided. Tax ID# is available if needed.

  • How do I sponsor the Giant American Flag?
  • Here is a chance for your corporation, your business, or you as a private individual to shine. Sponsorship of NERA - Oklahoma's Giant American Flag! Every time the giant flag is presented, your organization will be named as its sponsor for a full year! Be a part of this great cause. All that is required is a $500 minimum sponsorship donation. What a great deal! Your support will help Oklahoma veterans by helping fund the various NERA - Oklahoma assistance programs. A tax ID is available upon request. Make your check or Money Order to: NERA - Oklahoma (please write: Sponsorship/Donation, on your gift, so that it can be directed accordingly, by our Treasurer).
